By around six in the morning, I’d just get up. Still not rested. Staying in bed hoping sleep would come had little effect. Getting up early was supposed to make me tired enough to sleep earlier the next night. Usually, that part worked. But… I’d still wake up two or three times during the night, and the whole cycle repeated itself.
Melatonin helped me fall asleep when I couldn’t, and it’s cheap and easy to get here in Amsterdam. But my real problem wasn’t falling asleep—it was staying asleep. And I’d read somewhere that taking melatonin daily might prevent your body from producing it naturally.
Someone suggested valerian. It helped a bit.
But there’s one thing I’ve been doing for a few months now that makes a real difference. Since then, I sleep through the night. I still wake up early—around six—but that’s far better than lying awake!
Want to know what it is?
It’s simple. Almost free…
THIS!
Had you expected that? 😝
Do you have a trick that helps you sleep better? Share it in the comments—I’d love to hear! Or send this to someone who could use a better night’s sleep. Even a small tip can make a huge difference.
